Wards Auto Selects LT6 As Top Ten Engines In The World

Kudos to the LT6 team, for the “Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – 5.5L V-8“ was just selected by Wards Auto as 1 of 10. Wards is considered one of the most impartial, most precise and scientific industrial evaluative firms in the world.

Two of the top ten, for the first time were EV motors.

How so? What that means to me is that of every new ICE engine out there that is new in the last year, instead of the LT6 being in the top ten, it is in the top seven ICE engines in your book.

EV are powered by electric motors and not engines!

My preference is "Hybrids" like the E-Ray but Tesla has some modern impressive electric motors and controls!

It has always been gas engines and electric motors. Nothing new on that I know of. Ice boxes at one time actually had ice that was before our time. We always had refrigerators. Going back over 75 years or more.

Recall when I was very young my grandfather had an icebox and ice delivery! I'm 81 and he came to the US in 1892 (per Ellis Island Record! )

I too remember my grandmother’s ice box and ice delivery and the celebration day when it was replaced by an electricity powered refrigerator. Perhaps I was five years old?
