I can relate to Austin's situation. When I took delivery in December of my Z06, my dealer had no / Zero knowledge of the program. I told them about the program and they found a document for me to sign, which I did the next day. Things were a little fuzzy in 2022 around the program.
They then stated there were no instruction what they were to do with the document, so not sure they did anything with it.
I was already a Rewards member and did get the points for the purchase of my Z06.
Have 2 more months to wait and see if they show up in my account.
    Have fingers crossed.

You don't. At least on every other model that Chevrolet sells. The new purchase always populates within an existing My Rewards account as long as the My Rewards account email is used at the time of purchase/Onstar activation. If his selling dealer activated his onstar when they reported the car sold, with the same email address as his other cars, the Z06 should have shown up in his My Rewards app in minutes.

I hope you are correct that would make sense . Unfortunately it has been reported by a number of people that called GM rewards and received the same answer. They reported being told they needed to add the Z06 to their rewards list within 30 days of purchase or be ineligible for the loyality bonus after 6 months of ownership. Im not sure why anyone would make this up.
It appears to be specific to the 6 month loyalty bonus.
The good news is that this appears to be irrelevant soon with GMs awareness of the problem and working on addressing the issue.

Caveat emptor = Buyer Beware. Except in Austin’s case, it appears he did everything satisfactorily on his end, but for one small detail, the 6 month time window expired. This however, should not have mattered given that he previously and currently holds a GM My Rewards account. This is absolutely horrible but, in the final analysis, I trust that GM ultimately will make good on all those Z06 purchasers who are also in Austin’s position. If not, then GM created a PR nightmare and the risks (IMHO) to the GM brand do not go unnoticed. I’m waiting on my Eray order and if this same offer is applicable to the Eray, no doubt I’ll immediately be signing, authorizing, placing my signature, by my own hand, & thereby certifying that I’m not a flipper. Austin’s experience is simply disappointing that GM would deny and otherwise decline the 500,000 points based on poor communications on GM’s part. 🤬😡

I'm with you HOGYLD. I hope this program applies to the ERay as well since based on my waitlist positions I am much more likely to get the ERay before the Z06.

i will make sure i keep a copy of every document signed.

As a relatively new customer of GM I have 3 data points about GM.

1: The dealership was amazing, over the top! This is caused by GM providing the means to dealerships to provide a great customer experience but moreover the dealership being awesome.

2: I forgot to sign up for the Rewards program and a concierge helped me to get the points anyhow. Great customer service by the Corvette Concierge. GM provided the means to the concierge to provide great customer service.

3: Pxxx poor experience with regard to my reservation of the EV Silverado. I cancelled the reservation 5 months ago and GM (5 different EV concierges) is saying it is for the dealership to refund me the deposit and vice verse… Never got the refund!!

With this unneccesarily complicated sign-up procedure with non-communicated deadlines I think this is just poor design of the procedure (like my try to cancel the EV Silverado reservation)…. Not sure GM is willfully Sxxxxxxx customers here, they just need a procedure design department apparently… What is wrong with an e-mail with a voucher????

The demand for the ERay is no where near the demand for the Z, so not sure why GM would make the program available for the ERay.

What really is the definition of six months? If GM is saying that they need up to 45 days to verify the car was in the original buyers' possession after six months, what happens if the original buyer sells the car a few days after the six months is up, and GM has not received word from the DMV yet? When they finally do receive word from the DMV, and the DMV tells them the car has been sold, are the 5,000 points gone?

Unless the DMV tells GM exactly what date the car was sold, and someone at GM does the math?

Unless there's something I'm not understanding here, I think it would behoove someone to wait until the points are actually awarded before the sell the car? As long as six months plus another 45 days?

Would appreciate some enlightenment if anyone has any.

Six months after day of original purchase which GM learns from official selling dealership records, then 45 days for GM to with each state’s DMV record keeping verification of continual ownership taking up to 45 more days.

GM's new policy on rewards points for the Z06:

                        https://www.corvsport.com/show-me-z-...ewards-points/

We’ve been following Speed Phenom’s rewards points ordeal since the beginning, and Austin’s tenacity has paid off. More importantly, hopefully, this can serve as a PSA to other Z06 owners in the community. You can click here for the full details of this mess, but here are the cliff notes. As an incentive to curtail flippers, Chevy devised a plan to offer new Z06 owners 500,000 My Chevy Rewards Points for keeping their Z06 for a specified amount of time (originally 1 year, then changed to 6 months).

Here is the original “Customer Acknowledgement Form”.

What solution did the “brass” at Chevy’s My Chevy Rewards Points division come up with? The email statement from Trevor at GM to Austin reads:

Chevrolet is adjusting the program that rewards 2023 Corvette Z06 owners for retaining their vehicle for 6 months. In order to make the benefit to customers more clear, all 2023 Corvette Z06 customers have until December 1st, 2023 to enroll in My Chevrolet Rewards to be eligible for the 500,000 point vehicle retention award…

As noted in this portion of the email (more is read in the video), if you are a 2023 Z06 owner you still have to take action by December 1st!

The original hoops a Z06 owner had to jump through were confusing, so thanks to Austin for bringing light to this glitch in the system and being part of the catalyst to a solution. Austin says, “Personally a lot of people reached out to me telling me, Austin I’m in the same scenario! I didn’t know this…
Still not doing anything to make sure ALL Z06 owners are aware of this requirement, it seems. Those who follow Austin's YouTube, or belong to forums, will know, but that probably doesn't include every Z06 owner. A big step in the right direction, though.
