Z07 Option TOF Has Carbon Aero Emblem

While we thought it might, thanks to our DBurnett we have our actual confirmation that it does. DBurnett will post his whole story in mid next week but so nice to already learn from him. DBurnett, we are so excited for you of your Z07’s arrival and await its public public viewing next week for some of us know of your secret mod coming to it.

Option T0F is the full Z07 aero package made with real GM fiber; only diff is that its outermost carbon fiber layer then gets one more layer of carbon flash black metallic paint.

Proof that one more Z07 which has the full carbon fiber has been made. Stay tuned for further corroboration, for another one with TOF is around the corner next week (another delivery and one we are can witness). And more full aero Z06’s are coming down the line in the production week after that. Not saying the carbon fiber back log is over; not saying that carbon fiber will be plentiful; but we are starting to get confirmation that August 18th allocations are getting some of TOF (and TOG) and are getting un-backlogged, and further we saw that with the late January Z06 allocation batch, that there were some both T0F’s and T0G’s.

LOL, these two pictures are also proof how darn hard it is to photograph the carbon aero emblem itself indoors. Good job DBurnett in getting us two indoors ones this good; we look forward to it have pop and being even more crystal clear in the sunlight.

This is very encouraging John. Hopefully all this will play out on a positive note. I'm sure we can all use some encouragement these days, particularly those of us with our hearts set on the Z07.

Agree for sure. We always share positive news. Of course that does not mean that there won’t be any constraints this coming round, but that I am again hopeful that they would be partial ones, not be complete and total as they were in the Nov/Dec allocation batch.

Yes I do mean carbon flash paint. Thank you very much Tweedy for catching my error. Can I blame it on auto-correct because I type the two words “carbon fiber” over and over lol?

They are the same decal as on the T0G option. A satin black stencil decal. The letters are cut out to expose the material behind it. I’ll try to get better photos tonight.

Spring Mountain’s Z07 does not have the “Carbon Aero” decal. Have we seen any others that lack the decal? I checked the serial number and it was a very early car, I believe it was below #100.

Good catch. Some of the early cars might also be missing them because they were not made yet. My guess is that if you have any aero car without having gotten yours, GM would make you whole — sending a set for your end-plates your way.

At the same time, we saw on Corvette Blvd some really early cars such as Austin’s Vin # 23 that had that emblem on it. Maybe some hit and miss at the beginning?

I have an appointment next week for PPF that’s right across from the dealership and there was another Z07 car that arrived with mine and since I’m installing wheels and other mods, we did the PDI on it first. Plus it was terrible here today. Wind and rain and cold.

I should be done Wednesday and driving….or at least parking in my own shop.
