We thank Foosh for his suggestion for Z06 owners to have a place to list their engine builder, e.g., hence this sticky’d thread.

My engine builder is Mike Ward. Austin (Speed Phenom) has the same builder as well. So far so good 😊

I mentioned previously to John that back in C6 Z06 days, a long-running forum thread, where folks listed their engine builder, developed into interactions between LS7 engine builders in the Wixom High Performance Engines plant and Z06 owners. The Wixom builders ultimately organized an open house and pot luck luncheon at the plant, which many owners attended.

While that may be less likely these days, it would be cool to see some builder/owner interaction develop again.

I have no way to find out if he is still working at BGA, but was hoping the same engine builder that did my C7 Z06 would build my C8 Z06 engine. Would be a crazy coincidence but how cool would that be !!!

Question - When BG begins the "Build Your Own" Z06 Engine does your name go on the builders plaque??

Yea the person (customer) who builds the engine signs their name on a special machine which then creates the metal plaque.

Was looking through old pictures and found a picture of the plaque on my C6 Z06 LS7. They were more hidden on that engine.

I am glad to state that after 1,600 miles the engine Crystal built for me is still roaring like a beast. Has yet to need any oil and no issues noted.

I did follow all break-in procedures to a T as I am expecting the heart to beat for years.
