The best Z06 orange caliper picture yet.

Unless they changed the calipers to a true yellow, that picture doesn't look accurate on my monitor. I have the yellow calipers and they are basically a match for the AYM color.

Thus far: it won't be possible to get CCBs with black calipers. That may change between now and release, but as of now: CCBs require one of the non-black colors.

How do we know that if one gets CCB’s since they come in all six colors, which one is the “standard’ color please?

Sorry, as GM has changed this around from time to time, we do not yet know. My belief is that the standard, no cost Z06 caliper would again be black— but that is far from confirmed.

jvp is correct IF the visualizer is correct — and so far the visualizer is not batting 1000%.

Keith Cornett and I just spent some time on the visualizer and were able to build a Z07 with every color CCB except black. Correct info but does that not seem strange to exclude black CCB’s?

Z06 Caliper Colors: I saw these in the official GM “books” that all GM employees are carrying who are working the Z06/70th display area.

For the CCB’s (“J57”), Harbor Gray is standard: options are Bright Red, Edge Red, Edge Yellow and Edge Orange.
For the cast iron brakes (“J56”), Black is standard; Bright Red, Edge Red, Edge Yellow are optional

Whew, confirmation whether you gets cast iron or carbon ceramic brakes you have choices. So, please IGNORE the Z06 visualizer on this subject.
