Notable omissions that the release has no pricing information and not one single performance measure statistic. However Tadge Juechter stated separately that the 0-to-60 MPH time for the Z07 version was 2.6 seconds. Update: with its quarter-mile time of 10.6 second being released two weeks later.

The Z06 has neither stop-stop nor cylinder deactivation.

Will it have the option for a front nose lift? Didn't see that anywhere.

Yes, front lift is an option on the Z06. I also confirmed with Alex MacDonald, Corvette Lead Vehicle Engineer in charge of suspension, test drivers and much more that if one were to wish to lower the front, there is no new/different mechanism to do so on the Z06 than on a Z-51 Stingray.

While he did not say we are out of luck for those of us who wish to lower our cars were, his answer that there is not new or different components on the Z06 said it all to me.

We know that there will be no mark up over MSRP for the Z06 by Criswell, nor MacMulkin, nor by Ciocca. I have reached out to the remaining MECF dealerships and have yet to hear back from most (wanting to do a separate thread on this once I hear back from them).

Thanks. The local dealers here in Georgia think they are in Florida where dealers seem to be getting getting what they want.

I called different dealerships in Florida. Many wanted above sticker on the car I was asking about. I did the world a favor and told them I was not interested if there was 1$ mark-up.

In the end I found a great dealership. They even deliver to my door for free within 100 miles.

No that was the Z07

While we have heard that the standard Z06 does 0 to 60 MPH in 2.7, that is not an official GM number. What we have heard officially is that the Z07 will accelerate faster to 60 MPH due to its stickier Cup2 R tires and GM did come out in and show us that 2.6 number. Might we later get a 2.5 from GM for the Z07 and 2.6 for the standard Z? We can hope but there sure are no guarantees that this would happen.
