Hey Guys. I just had my dealer put the track alignment on my Z51 car and the final caster measurements concern me (11.0° right and 8.4° left, whereas 8.0 is recommended). I wanted to get others opinions before bringing it up to the dealer. Also, there is a very minor pull to the right when I take my hands off the wheel.
Would the 2.6゚ difference of caster be the biggest issue? Is 11゚ just way too high? Is 8.4゚ even too high? I understand how positive caster increases camber as the wheels turn, but don't understand exactly to what degree and if that will adversely affect performance for what I do.
I use the car for autocross maybe 12 times a year on Hoosier A7 tires and plan to keep it track aligned for daily driving.
I'm attaching a picture of the printout. The initial measurements were after I did my own alignment in my garage with basic tools after a service garage canceled my alignment appointment the day before a race 🤨
Thank you for any input.
