Time for a little more carbon fiber additions........ my frunk was lacking . Here's today's latest. There is more to come to finish off the frunk in the next couple weeks.

The Torch red pinstripe and Text are painted on, then the panels were clear coated.

That looks very nice. Same except you have the nice enhancement of your red edge striping, as what Steve Garrett and I got from American Hydrocarbon (only made a couple) before they went out of business. Yours looks great Strake!

Fun; fun. On Corvette Blvd during its reveal time, word spread among the team and they came over to find our car to sign it.

On the display area for the engine bay, on our HTC’s vertical piece when in service position, have also the signatures of Chuck Valentini (BGA Body and Paint Manager), Rachel Bagshaw (BGA Communications Manager), Brandon Clemens (our LT6 engine builder) and Kai.





Happy to also have some special non Corvette team folks to also sign the frunk storage cover, e.g. Mike Furman, Wes Wong (FBI Special Agent in charge of the 911 site and NCM past Board member), some other board members, and a few other Corvette community leaders. Car was in the right place at the right time (during the Bash).

The manufacturer only made a couple of sets with the painted red pinstriped edge and text and realized that it wasn't marketable at what his cost was doing so. He has an ad on eBay for plain ones without the stripes or text and offers decals in all car colors for the text as an option. He offers those for $999 plus shipping. As I inquired about getting a set and asked about RED text decals he mentioned that he had this one set left with the hand painted pinstripes and text and made me attractive offer which I took.

He does not have a core charge either.

Not sure if he would make more with the hand painted stripes and text. You can always ask......

Strake please keep adding more. Yes it costs me money much of the time you come up with something new but you are leading in the carbon fiber area. Good luck finding more and more for us too.

My wife said earlier this evening, "we should get a carbon fiber removable roof panel"....... I told her that they were a GM option ..... in my case, could have gotten one with the Red sides, and the 3LT Red stitching on the underside.

I will take that as the Green light to start hunting one up....... if anyone knows of one that someone is willing to ship, please let me know !!!!! Can't miss this opportunity.
