Sorry if I missed this in my search - has anyone here painted the black trim panels around the frunk? I've seen it on other sites, and it looks good. But I'm curious as to what primer to use, and what paint, because the plastic is flexible, and I suspect standard enamel may not hold up well. (I've seen some plastic paints that appear to be flexible.) Also, the side trim pieces mount on top of the main part, and I'm wondering how the paint holds up where they rub. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Not sure paint would hold up over time. A PPF would look much better than stock as well as be easier to clean and give you the look you are after. The cost might sway your thought process back to leaving it as is. But if you do go with PPF compared to stock, the finished look would be awesome.Last edited by Vette Interested; 12-31-2022, 05:26 PM.
