I have had a deposit in with MacMulkin for a C8Z06 for well over a year. I am keeping my place on their list (#52), but the anxiety has been getting to me. So these past few months I’ve been keeping an eye out for a C8. About three weeks ago, I lucked into one. It has all of the options I want in our eventual C8Z, down to the color.

I was torn between a coupe and htc, but the car that we stumbled into is a coupe. So I had a small amount of wrap work done on the top. The targa is the tinted glass. The pillars, etc. are wrapped to match.

I have been overly busy with work, but this past weekend finally had some time to spare. A full clean, polish, and ceramic coating was in order. Several hours later, she’s gleaming and ready to go.

Now that we have a Sebring Orange ‘21, I’m leaning towards a mist red in the future C8Z, if that color is still available at the time.

Wonderful news. Thanks for sharing with us. My expectation is that Red Mist will be around at least three years.

I hope you are correct! The next decision will be: to keep the C7Z51, or sell when it’s time for the C8Z.

That looks pretty awesome. I see you have what looks like the CF painted five spoke wheels, but the outer rim is painted and not machined. Did you have that rim painted?

I cleaned and painted them myself. Did this to another set of wheels over a year ago, and they’ve held up, so figured what the heck.

Thanks. Windshield? Was it a ceramic tint? How's the day/night visibility? How did you get rid of the white line on the black wheel?

                Thank!! you
