So I found this on facebook *C8 Corvette Owners)...adding the OEM LEDs to my engine compartment today. They are well built and you can tell they were taking into account the heat factor from the mid-engine.
I used a remote relay similar to a non-branded Mild2Wild to supply on and off capabilities. I grabbed power at the rear fuse box and grounded using the "mystery bolt" behind the inside seat bolt. Wiring was ran under the trim that surrounds the rear window up past the seat belt outlet to get into the under-halo area. Then I got the wiring to exit where the factory wiring comes out up top for the camera and rear defroster.
A few things to note:
1) LED lights do not come with mounting hardware. Used GM 7mm "screws" and metal fastener "nuts" or Nylon Inserts for Fastening License Plates.
2) The LED lights do not come with a harness/pigtail. I had to open up the receptacle to be able to solder wiring to the leads directly.
3) Bonus is that I programmed two of my Homelink buttons to the "on/off" functions of the remote control that came with the relay. Now just like M2W in previous generations, I can control my LED lighting in the engine bay just reaching up.
