Would be interesting if someone would experiment with changing the color of that small black section to right of the window by B pillar as that would change the look of the shape
of window and make it seem more blended in

HERE YOU GO , Straight from
                    C8 Engineer !

                    Here is the general guidance:

Our spring seat wants a spanner wrench capable to 4 7/8th in (124mm)

Our lock nut wants a spanner wrench capable to 3 1/16th in (79mm)

Our anti-rotation holes want a pin wrench capable to 2 3/32nds in (53mm)

For the spring seat I suggest

                    McMaster-Carr hook spanner #6975A25 (https://www.mcmaster.com/6975A25)

                    AMPCO Adjustable Hook spanner #4RPC1 / WP-6-ST (https://www.grainger.com/product/AMP...r-Wrench-4RPC1)

Adjustable is a bit more challenging as the hook can move, but this one tool can technically do both the nut and the seat, no where as easy as fixed tools though

For the lock nut I suggest

                    McMaster-Carr hook spanner #6975A21 (https://www.mcmaster.com/6975A21)

                    AMPCO Adjustable Hook spanner #4RPC1 / WP-6-ST (https://www.grainger.com/product/AMP...r-Wrench-4RPC1)

For the pin wrench I suggest

Westward Fixed Pin Spanner wrench 5RDZ4 (https://www.grainger.com/product/WES...rchQuery=5RDZ4)

                        Hi MikeC8.

After you lowered it 5/8" did you ever scrape on any speedbumps or driveways?

                        Thanks

No I have not had any problems with speed bumps or my driveway. Which as you can see it’s steep. Atlanta snow fall in February. Click image for larger version

Great to know MikeC8. Thanks for sharing your experience as it helped make up my mind. I think I'll forgo the E60 front end lift so I can adjust the height a bit like you did.

                            Thanks a bunch!

                              Hi guys

I saw this great video on Youtube on how to lower your C8 with the coilover adjustments.

                              https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pEYQVatA4Q

                              Enjoy.
