So... for the average back-yard mechanic that is doing an oil change, they need to have 2 jacks, one for each side, to lift their car? Is there no singular lifting spot for rear-end center to jack the car up from?Comment

There’s a Rick Conti video that shows his Corvette technician experimenting with lifting points, so the mechanic clearly did not know this. He initially used the “old” lift points along with a brace on the back end to stabilize the car. Then experimented with widening the lift points.
he was installing the optional brake ducts on a Z51, and it seems those installation instructions did not extend to lifting the car. With the full belly pan, apparently not. If you remove the belly pan, there are probably cross members where you could lift. Since the lifting holes are oblong on the C8 does this now change the pucks for the C8?. Previous posts stated that the C7 pucks could be used with the C8. Please advise.

Thanks Meyerweb and John. The reason I asked because our jack pucks for the C7 GS (C28-63 Corvette Jack Pad Tool w/15mm extension from Reverse Logic) are round. Thanks for reconfirming that these will fit on a C8.
