That’s that guy Schmee.., he has a fun character and he liked the Eray for sure. The Erays cool. I can’t wait for the triple play as automotive journalists from around the globe do in-depth comparisons of the stingray, the Eray and the z06.

I always love those triple tests where they delve into the nuances and differences of vehicles from the same brand.

Shmees a cool Brit, I haven’t followed him that closely over the years but I should have. He is a pleasant YouTuber to watch as he is quite often is so happy and actually one of the most informative.

Thanks for posting up! Fun review and well deserved. That Eray is going to be quite spectacular.

Have not seen video of the new gray color until now. I have a question for the Corvette team. Who decided that the stunning C8 design needed a Battleship gray color? When I think of a sports car, I think they should have vibrant colors. Like TR, RM, ELB, etc. Not bland Battleship grey! And another question for the Corvette team is, was the person who picked the interior color, color blind? Battleship Grey with Natural interior, yuck! Now the convertible E-RAY color combo looked great! Those new, Electric Blue stripes looked really cool too.

I agree, but black and white are always 2 of top 3 colors, and gray seems to be very popular, too. Right now there are 7 monochrome colors out of 14: 2 whites, CMG which is almost white, flare silver which looks white in bright light, gray, and 2 blacks. Guess Corvette owners like conservative colors.

I 100% share your opinion on Sea Wolf Gray (and 1000% WRT pairing it with a black & natural interior - I think it only goes with full Jet Black or Tension Blue/Twilight Blue Dipped.)

However, I do note that a lot of the young-uns seem to really like "Audi Nardo Gray", or whatever comes close in their car of choice. Chevy's gotta give younger buyers what they want!

As for myself, I'm torn between Red Mist Metallic (with natural dipped) or Riptide Blue (with Sky Cool Grey 3LT). No monochrome colors for me!

It certainly makes me optimistic to hear that when Shmee spoke to the GM team they expected Z06 production to be about 25-30% total and ERay to be only slightly less.

                      Interesting!

That would be a departure from almost all of the predictions I've seen.

Edit: Just started watching the video, and if you're talking about what Schmee says at 8:10, he says they estimate DEMAND to be in that ratio, not PRODUCTION.

I'm not sure. Do they adjust production to match a demand estimate when they can basically sell every C8 they make?

I'm #3 on MacMulkin's deposit list for an ERay... photos and video coming later this year when I get my 2024 ERay!

In my early 60's, I'm one of the young-uns who likes Audi Nardo Gray. Unfortunately, I really like Riptide Blue, so once again, choosing between colors will be an internal struggle for my Eray. I'm hoping to see both in person at Carlisle.
