Hopefully for those on the contact list, those dates are honored as to the order on the waitlist. Or this could become Ciocca Z06 2.0 if you’re not able to mail them a check on the 1st, it all depending on USPS, FedEx, UPS get the check to them, etc.

Has anyone seen this? Am I understanding it correctly that they want checks mailed for deposits? Seems so archaic and difficult to track timing

Well, if the deposits are in-person only on February 1, may be I'm not getting the car then. I'm in Chicago so no way I could make it out there...

You can mail/ship them the check.

If Ciocca is any lesson, if I recall correctly, walk-ins for the Z06 took precedence. A potential purchaser of the eRay is better off I think, walking in and plunking down a deposit rather than on hoping the wind blows in the right direction via USPS, FEDEX, Etc.

Walk ins didn’t take precedence to my knowledge. People who stood in line in person ended up being hundreds if not thousands in line because people just wired the money and got ahead of them.

That's my understanding too chevyrules. I remember watching a small time youtuber get so upset that he camped all night with his wife and had a terrible number for Z06.

Agreed. You're basically at the mercy of what order USPS/UPS etc throw your envelope in their bin. Mail ins will be luck of the draw, as I assume they'll get one huge shipment of checks that day.

On the same topic - does anyone know if Ciocca is doing one of these drawings like they did for the Z06? I haven’t inquired with them about the E-ray and whether they have an ongoing list or not
