Gorgeous Car and love the configuration. I always thought the battery would slot into the middle "tunnel". Will have to wait for more details at 7:00 am Pacific Time so see if we lost the Frunk with the one electric motor. Also, rumors of the LT1 engine's power bump to just over 500.

A little surprised by the pricing. Starting point is only $2,400 less than the Z06! If this is the Grand Sport replacement vehicle, would have expected it to slot in-between the Stingray at $64,500 and the Z06 at $105,300. Historically speaking. But in my opinion, Chevrolet has changed.

from the C&D video, the frunk is like 99% of the Stingray and Z06. The author is pointing to the very slight bump on both sides at the bottom.

Yes it is more than I was expecting, but that is a pill I can swallow. Torn between the 2LZ and 3LZ. I want the carbon fiber interior, but will do the external carbon fiber items after market to save some $$. GM's carbon fiber prices are ridiculous.

I saved my original factory exhaust. I hope my Paragon performance Exhaust can be transferred to the E-Ray.

You are right, GM has changed — as has the massive performance increases the C8 brought about starting with the C8 Stingray getting to 60 MPH in just under 3.0 seconds. The Grand Sport had just five more HP than the C8 Stingray. Not 160 HP more. Not the fastest car even in 2017 then but the E-Ray is now the fastest Corvette ever.The GS did not have CCB’s standard but you could buy them for $ 7,495.and many other differences including as you know AWD is another game changers. We (outsiders) thought of this car as the GS replacement. It is that, and all the preceding more.

Frunk remains full sized, and those rumors of +500 HP came from elsewhere. I and quite a few other here knew that was “inflationary” thinking. 655 HP is amazing!

I posted this image in another thread, but here it is again. from the C&D video. Very MINIMAL frunk space reduction in both lower sides.

Thanks John for towing the Chevrolet line and confirming that the Carbon Ceramic Brakes are a Standard feature at no extra charge. Wonder how much the ZER Performance Package will cost? Living in Southern California I'm not overly concerned about the snow, but am looking forward to the front wheel drive capabilities.

I do not think ZER would cost much but all we definitely know this morning is that it has the change from A/S to PS4’s. However, will it have or require some aero, MSRC recalibration, or even carbon fiber wheels? And it appears it has underbody aero strakes.

It's funny that the visualizer is still displaying Rapid Blue twice, once for Rapid, and again when you select Riptide.
They still havent fixed this bug.
