    How/when the E-Ray’s reveal?

    Yet unknowns however, if I were a betting person I would bet on this YT channel, and perhaps simultaneously on Insta and FB?

    I am still believing there would be no Z06-like, people-present reveal, but instead just like the during-Covid Silverado EV reveal (https://youtu.be/UzJeywHtVpU) by video only. That official GM reveal was only 10 1/2 minutes long.

    Still thinking still probably the NYC location but broadcast so everyone of us can see it. But we yet do not have a definite link; nor do we have a definite time. I am seeing time guesses that I know to be wrong but I do not yet know when.

    However you can count on the second that we know here, and you remember that I am GM accredited media who auto-gets instantly every GM press release, and that they want the widest possible viewership, I expect later to get precise info to soonest share here in this thread.

    Thanks for checking in periodically and you also know as soon as we have something definitive, it would be also posted in our announcements box (just below our main MECF landing banner on our home page).

    On alert —but nothing to report yet definitively.

    John, I went to that sight earlier based on a different forum, someone stated it was listed there, that it will air at 1000 hrs on Tuesday. There's nothing there stating that but yes, I'm sure it will air there.

    Also, I believe there will be plenty of time for them to pack up and haul her to DC for the DC Auto Show on the 20th; I'll be there on the 21st and if she's there, I'll hit you up ASAP!

      It is strange, I would think GM would plan and get the info out early on the first AWD, Semi- EV Corvette.

      I know times are strange but to throw out the teaser vid around xmas and wait to the last minute to tell people when to tune in doesn't seem right.

      Anyways, thanks for keeping an eye open.

        All have a choice to keep visiting that other site and getting WRONG information on/from that site. I know that is not the accurate time for its reveal.

          One reason Chevy is being very descreet on where and when the reveal will be is for the security of the place where it is revealed. We all are going to get to see it live as if we were there but don't have to spend thousands of dollars on travel and wait in long lines to get in. There will be plenty of opportunities for us to see it in person in the near future.

            MECF will provide all advance timing so you can see the reveal on line on Tuesday. Again, please check back periodically and if you are interested seeing it, I would have insured my Tuesday calendar is open to move things around (or come back here later in the day for we will have ALL the info here (just as we did as the reveal started for both the C8 Z06 and the C8 Stingray).

            GM wants to get the info out to everyone interested. We will help them again do exactly that.

              John is our 'inside guy'.... If he doesn't have the details of the reveal yet, no one outside of the GM in house fraternity does.... I'm certainly going to 'stay tuned'.....

                I am going to stay tuned too. This is exciting stuff. I am very excited about the E-Ray though one is not going to be part of my future.

                  Mr DJ it would be such a lost opportunity if GM didn't bring at least one down to the DC auto show. What a great way to kick off its press tour and build excitement. Let's cross our fingers.

                    Going to be a super happy day on Tuesday in some ways. But as we know, if it were to have 1,000 HP and 1,000 TQ some would complain about something they wanted it does not have. I remember listening to a person at the Z06 reveal talking to his friend while standing next to the LT6 on its display stand. The first person was so excited about its engine smashing the previous 622 HP naturally aspirated record, just going on an on about the LT6 having 670 HP. His sour faced friend (literally) was stuck on the LT6 having 460 TQ and saying that that ended his interest in it totally.

                    Tuesday like every single new vehicle reveal day, will have some super surprise upsides, but perhaps it will only develop 900 HP and 900 TQ, not be a PHEV, or be a PHEV and “only” develop 560 TQ and 560 TQ. We shall see.

                    I am excited and on Tuesday will focus on its upside surprises.

                      The only thing I'm interested in seeing is the specifications in writing. Secondarily, I'm curious about how they will price it. I know what it looks like.

                        I totally get that, but there is no reason not to announce the time way ahead of time. Last week they could have said "Online reveal, 1/17/2023 1:00PM EST. Stay tuned to chevrolet.com for details" Or something like that.

                          It would be nice if the marketing team had a better channel of communication to the public than what they currently do. They are operating much different than they have in the past with annoucements. Nobody is happy with their current procedures and until somebody in Mary's office takes action nothing will change.

                              Tuesday's reveal is for the Eray. The Grand Sport name has been sent to the back burner for now it appears.
