  • Extra storage space

Someone mentioned there is space available behind the infotainment screen. The space is 2 by 2 by 6", and I installed a little box there, which holds my sunglasses.

It looks like it’s a perfect fit. Is it a plastic box? Where did you get the little box?

That area is not visible from the driver's position. So getting anything in or outta there while driving would be by feel only. Haven't tried using that space yet.

Gets hot there when the sun comes through that gigantic windshield. Ya might want to use a windshield screen or throw a light colored something or other over your glasses. I'm thinking of a way to use the vertical water fall area between the seats in a better way. Not as convenient as what you have but it could be made more usable I think.

Odds are GM figured out that space. Since its not an OEM "authorized" storage space, I'm hesitant to use it for anything. Could be a distraction.
