The sun visor on the C8 pivots to an awkward position, but if you unclip it, it will pivot farther toward the windshield. The pictures show the difference

Its a Beltronics V10, and despite our friendly officer's skepticism, if you hit the brakes as soon as it sees a cop, you will avoid a ticket. In my experience, cops need confirmation on even a laser hit, so if you change speed before they stroke you twice, you may get a warning, but not a speeding ticket. I'm sure others will dispute this, but I haven't been caught speeding in 40 years.

What's the easist way to remove the visor stickers?
In the past I have applied CF vinyl wrap over them.

That's true with LIDAR, but as far from the truth as possible with Radar. A good RD will pick up a radar signal bouncing off of surroundings before the car is even within line of sight of the radar gun. There are numerous sites testing RD's against the latest generation of radar units, and the range of the detector is significantly longer than the unit.

A bit of a disinformation campaign above, I think.

I tried with a heat gun, they dont come off. I'd like to find a cool sticker to cover them.

You can even beat LIDAR with the right system.
I have a custom installed Escort IXCI system with front and rear radar and laser shifting.
                  https://www.escortradar.com/products/ix-ci-system
I was lasered 3 times over the course of the trip and hit with radar from behind twice and upfront about 7 or 8 times, no tickets, no issues.
It's not like I was racing down the roadways, but like just about everyone else you go faster then what is posted at times as you listen to music etc. so most of the hits I was doing about 10mph over the posted limit. Most of that drive is 75mph so doing 85mph or so is pretty normal out there on I40.

True, but it gets expensive, and complicated, and the LEO was talking about radar, so that's what I focused on. And RD's are legal in 49 states. Quite a few states have outlawed LIDAR jammers, I think.

agree on radar. And no offense to my officer-friend (whose name/handle seems to ironically be "Racer", lol), but I would think an RD combined with the good ole' free Waze app, has got to be a good combination. I realize the really expensive RD's come with their own community App too.

                      I agree with driving safely.

I am almost never leading the pack and am almost always simply in the flow of traffic. That is with a four door sedan. I suspect a C8 doing the same thing may get more attention.

Much respect to Law Enforcement! My brothers are retired State Troopers (plus ex-military). Thanks for keeping us all safe and putting your lives on the line every day!

All respect to law enforcement, and I do not drive recklessly, but my RD has saved my butt countless times, my father gave me my first one 50 years ago.
I just discovered Waze, which is the only nav app accepted into Android Auto other than Google. On my drive this morning, it alerted me to an upcoming pothole.

I've been using Waze for years!

It knows where everybody is and how fast they are traveling.

Every single time I think that I am smarter than Waze and I don't takes it recommended detour - I am literally wrong everytime!

It's scary how intelligent Waze is.

I went into setup and changed it to night mode, the contrast works better
