We have debated on how many fans GM will lose/gain with the introduction of the ME but only time/data will show that. We also see members like John who know a lot about this subject and conversely, people like me who have never owned a corvette -With the new exotic layout, I am now a fan and would like to see who else is in this boat. Take a poll!

Thanks USVTRN! Going to be interesting to see the results.

I would have selected an additional category if it had been available, e.g. something like:

While I love the C7’s looks, the ME is a different step forward, one that my wife and I are embracing.

Since it was not, I voted, “I have owned Corvette and will continue with the ME.”

I would not be surprised if, despite only having the capacity to make 33,000, 2020 ME’s (at “firewall overtime”), if the C8’s “pre-solds” exceeded 40,000 units. Pre-solds C7’s in 2014 exceeded 40,000 units, with 1,150 negatively-surprised customers getting a “Sorry Charlie” letter, i.e., we thought we could build it for you, but we were unable to do so.

Would "I drive, own a car, and have the goal of owning a Corvette one day but can't afford one at the moment" count as the last option?

So far it's better than the other one, in which every thread descends into insults and negativity.

I'm on this forum because it's more intelligent (mostly), has less trolling (not none), and is better moderated forum than most.

I don’t care where the engine is. My prerequisite is the car needs to look good. If not, I am a car guy and my $ will go elsewhere. Voted “not yet convinced.”

I'm a cross between a few choices - I've owned a few Corvettes, I'm a huge car guy (and that's not a weight/girth joke), I'm interested in all things Corvette, I'm curious to see what the C8 will be annnnnnd I volunteered to help a few friends with the tech side of new forum they put together Oh, and I can and will talk about cars 24x7 if given the chance, and this is another outlet for that

Being in Canada I will probably have to wait until late year 2 or year 3 before they are easy to get...currently on Corvette #13 and would like to get to 14 before something happens. ( not that I am superstitious)

Am I correct that once a car is “used,” and 6 months old, you can buy it from anywhere in America, i.e., there will be lots of his trading in pristine, low mileage 2020’s on 2021 HP models — if that were to interest you.

I'm in Canada too. I guess it depends if you are near a major corvette dealer.

I am, and have had a deposit on since the beginning of the year and expect to be an early owner next year. I don't think that just being in Canada is a negative.

Since the Stingray is the most sold C7 model how about a "if the price is 70k+ I can't afford it" option?
