Looks like the outline of the switch has a different shape. Keep trying. Gotta be a GM product with the same one.

LOL! I'm sure the courtesy light bulbs are the same? I give up! Wish I hadn't brought it up. I was just wondering why having one part the same is a big deal. The C8 is, to me, an amazing leap for Chevy.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Maybe we should start a contest. First to document a C8 component that is also used on another GM product wins a free MECF membership!

Now that toggle does look like the 2020 toggle.

As I remember, Tadge said the latch that holds/locks the rear of the removable top is the part that is the same as 2019 cars. Like it really matters.

Because claiming "all new" is a marketing thing since the beginning of time." In the 60s, a manufacturer would change the grill, taillights and chrome trim and advertise the "All New 1963 insert brand of choice here." I wouldn't be surprised if some enterprising cave man tried to sell his tribe mates his "all new club."

Don't remember if it was Tadge, but yes, one of the GM presenters at NCM said that.

Pretty sure the lug nuts are the same as on the Camaro ZL1.

Sorry. "Pretty sure" isn't good enough. You gotta ..."document a C8 component that is also used on another GM product" .. to win the prize.

Did some detective work here: The GMC Sierra and C8 Corvette switch are not the same. The middle part of the switch is much flatter on the Sierra. Also the Sierra switch has 8 dots in a row, the C8 only has 7 dots

I had counted the dots three times in pics I saw and for some reason missed the difference. LOL
