  • Track Amor - temporary tape for the drive home - doing R8C delivery

    Hi all,

Has anyone ever used Track Amor, temporary tape? My wife and I am doing R8C delivery and if the weather is ok end of Feb., beginning of March I want to drive home and break her in the 280 miles. I want to use some type of temparary clear bra if possible and came across this online. Don't want to get any chips or debris on the paint if I can help it.

    Thanks for any help!

Here IMO is a better DIY.

I also vote for tracwrap. It is some tough stuff. I have used it a couple of times.

So 68roadster you would use it for your new C8? No residue. Thanks.

Nice! I was stressing about picking up my C8 in the Midwest and doing a family visit circuit before heading west for 2000 miles back to Southern California. Now I can do a affordable temporary front cover and follow with permanent protection back home. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, I was worried about the drive home from the museum without any protection on the car. Now i think this will work till I get to my detailer to put on the ceramic coating. Thanks for sharing!

I didn't find any residue when I pealed it off. It won't look pretty, but you won't leave it on very long
