Just a small reminder of how far this car has come since it was first spotted way back in early 2017.

Can't forget this one too. All the way back in 2015. I've been following it closely since this one was spotted.

Great timing lol, I was actually just about to post that. I completely forgot about it until I was scrolling through old pictures just now.

Very good timing indeed, it has been fun to watch this car progress, at least in terms of what they've allowed to be seen, and I can hardly believe that it has nearly been 3 years.

It has definitely flown by and each day we're getting closer to the reveal. It's also amazing that it has been roaming about for all this time, yet GM hasn't officially given any signs that it even exists.

I believe that is mostly due to how special the arrival of this generation truly is for them. Even if we all know, they want the reveal to be a big impact.

If the reveal is at NAIAS, I for one plan to go and see the ME in person. I've never been to that show so it sounds like a great opportunity (except for winter in Detroit)

Whether the LA Show or the NAIAS show, I would recommend arriving the second they open in the morning, and not a weekend day. Have found that earliest possible time on a Tuesday or a Wednesday is when they are least crowded.

I too am planning to go see it in person, should it be NAIAS, even if it is revealed earlier, they will probably have one at Detroit, so I'm probably headed their either way.

I'd absolutely love to see it in person at the reveal, but that flight unfortunately wouldn't be worth it for me haha. Shouldn't be too much longer of a wait for my local Chevy dealership to get at least one in.

Looking forward to hearing from those of you who attend =).

Indeed, while I'm sure others will, I will provide a few pictures and my own impressions about how it looks in person after the fact.

Maybe we’ll get lucky, when we went for the C7 reveal the weather wasn’t bad.

On average, the time difference between seeing it in person the LA Show or NAIAS and its arrival at your delaership, talking about seeing it in person, would be a minimum of six months, could be as much as nine.

However, there will be other intervening shows, such as the Chicago Show, the New York Show and probably ten or fifteen smaller ones too to reduce that time difference.

Oh for sure, but waiting a few months to see it in person when I know what it looks like, how it performs, stats, etc would be 100x better than waiting as long as we have been with knowing very little =). I might be able to make one of the smaller shows depending on the time and location.

We will collectively dig out the location of the shows where the ME will be seen next year, having a separate thread with all the info each of us can add into it. Our goal will be to together, list all info anyone would need to figure out the best/quickest/easiest/cheapest/closest show to where they live.
