C8 Mule Rear

I have a question for the more experience forum members that have been through the last couple of generation changes....could the Corvette team use parts from the previous generation or another car (i.e. Camaro) in the front or back? Like the rear fascia? Or generally do they just use camo tape to cover and disguise?

At this stage of the development..what we are seeing is all to disguise the real c8.

they cobble these pilot vehicles to throw us off,,,
