We've been doing Corvette news & headlines podcasts on CORVETTE TODAY since September 2020. I don't remember ever doing a news & headlines podcast with this much critical information packed into one podcast! https://podcasts.adorilabs.com/show/...ppfrkBCyZstwdl. • Have we considered....

...that the C8.R side intake treatment could be what we will ultimately see on the higher performance variant of the C8 and NOT necessarily the intake design we will see on the base C8? Just a random thought...

I'd suggested something similar after the C8-R images came out. We know the width of the street tires, not particularly wide. It would seem logical that the race variant will use substantially wider tires, and it follows that a "widebody" kit might be in use.

I wonder if some smart person could compare the width of the race vs street cars based on the images we have?

    edit.

Having just seen the "naked" thread, my assumptions about the race version appear to be correct.

The C8 comes with 305's on the back, that is a monster tire. The C8R looks very wide, like an Aventador, maybe not practical for the street
Torch red 1LT, no options. Built June 4, received July 2
