There have been a lot of 'rumors' on the ME over the past few years. Hopefully, this is probably one as well. What I didn't like reading in this article was the September 2019 production start date.

I hope I am driving mine by then!

I have heard many start dates, but candidly this is the latest timeframe I have read. My own believe is best summed up as “customer deliveries by next September” — if not even as early as July. I am hoping to be able to drive ours on the late August, National Corvette Caravan ending up at NCM’s 25th Anniversary Labor Day Celebration.

Autoline says the source is from Auto forecast solutions. I been watching Autoline since late 1999, they are very connected to Detroit and usually know what is going on in the big 3 well 2 lol. I posted the Autoline video back in July when it was released. Time will tell it’s getting interesting.

This misinformation is fostered to sell more c7 models before the launch of the c8.

personally i think we are looking at as suggested deliveries of the c8in september of 2019...

just a guess based off the proposed c8 showcar debut at the january 14th detroit auto show..

any longer than september delivery date and public interest will fade..

musks 2020all electric 200 grand supercar will eclispe the higher hp versions of the c8....

these tesla ev suoercars are handmade low volume so i think tesla will jit its prodiction date targets

i expect the c8 twin turbo type version to run into serious competition as the pricing and performance will clash..

it ll be on every cover comparing the best of the internal combustion sports cars to teslas supercar...not the standard model c8but rather the top dog version..

itll be all about the crown coming down after almost 70years...

the soap opera media headlines will be the driving force to generate relevancy for primt media in this age of interweb snap chat bs..

We should just quit speculating and have someone in Charlotte ask Rick Hendrecks when he's flying to Bowling Green to pick up C8 VIN #1! He will have purchased it for $1M+ next January at Barrett-Jackson. Trust me, it will be black on black with black wheels.....

I was super fortunate, and extremely lucky, to be standing at the end of the assembly line, when his C7 VIN 001 came off the line. And right behind was another one for his wife, and a couple more for him in the first ten C7’s completed.
