  • Can you name a C8 feature or characteristic that people don't know about?

While watching a YouTube video tonight I was surprised to learn that they claimed a Stingray symbol can be seen in the shape of the car when viewed from above. I'm not sure I see it, take a look starting at 9:54 and see if you do:

This got me thinking, can you name a C8 feature or characteristic that people might be unfamiliar with?

The wheel studs holding on the tires/wheels are apparently larger in diameter than on the C7.

As is the length of the lug nut studs.

The front frame area has a crash box that can be unbolted and replaced in a light crash, approximately ten mph or less. Helps keep insurance rates down.

Based on the amount of misinformation people around the 4 "sit in" C8s were spouting at NCM, there's a LOT people don't know.

Huh, I didn't know about that one either. How are they different?

C8 has a turning radius of 36 feet compared to the C7's 38 feet plus the ACKERMANN EFFECT has been eliminated!

The cross-section of the door by the door "handles" appears to be approx six inches wider because of the design, i.e. being under part of the air scoop cowls. So when the door swings open some angle to enter or exit, the additional thickness of the door may cause problems in narrow garages or parallel parking lots.

I believe number one has chrome accents and number two has carbon flash accents.

Well, only if you get the Z51 with FE4 (mag ride) suspension, and only at low speed.

The right exterior mirror has a mount arm that is 2” longer than the mount arm of the left exterior mirror.

It's the first right hand drive control Corvette ever.
