      I was a little underwhelmed when I saw the 650/750/850 hp ratings-assumed z06/ZR1/Zora-but then I saw the 455 hp number, so that to me discredits the information, as we know the 2020 C8 makes 490/495hp. Am I missing something?

        YES you are FR-L seems to be the C7 gen, MR-L would be the C8 Mid Engine. Although the 469/515 figures for the 6.2 base could of been preliminary numbers. That 800 hp number pops up again...

            If you look along that chart, it mentions electrification and Hybrid propulsion for the 469/515 engine. Possibly a sub-Z06 hybrid model. It may not take into account the power provided by electric motors.

              True that but there seems to be 3 different engine type in the MR-L Hi-Po engines. I would of said maybe the GS but they always seem to use to base engine for that.

                That's showing 5 different ME configurations: 6.2 liter ICE and hybrid, 5.5 liter turbo ICE and hybrid and 5.5 liter NA. That seems like at least two too many, unless the 5.5 NA is going to replace the LT2 at some point. I don't see GM offering both twin turbo and NA hybrids in the C8, nor 6.2 and 5.5 liter NA motors.

                    Not all of these motor configurations are destined for the Vette, right?

                    I assumed this was listing engines to be built at various plants, but that could include ones which are destined for other products like Cadillac or even trucks.

                      Some of the output numbers don't make any sense. For instance, it lists a 5.5L NA DOHC V8 with 600hp at 5000 rpm. That's 1450 rpm lower than the OHV LT2's peak output! It's nonsensical.

                      Then there's the electric hybrid variants for every engine, but the electric motor torque is only added to the LT7's torque figure.

                      The timing is also interesting in that this is leaked right after a slew of rumor-mongering articles appear.

                      Looks to me as if somebody thought it would be fun to make up a spreadsheet to tell us what we want to hear.

                        You may very well be right about the 6.2 being replaced. The 5.5 has 32_valve heads so I assume efficiency is better. TT helps extract more power with minimal lag & better cooling.

                              I’m sure these are preliminary numbers but interesting to see. I hope there is a NA Fpc as suggested and becomes the GT3 killer, or the GS as I believe. Then Z06 with potentially 850!! I wonder if the hybrid variation is just too far down the road for specific hp numbers.

                              A similar thing happened with the newly released Lincoln aviator they had it initially at 450 HP and 600 torque but after cert. adjusted hp to like 495.
