Road and track has been trying to evolve into a more track event focused publication as well as a journey story telling driven magazine.

i just cancelled my subscription the other day.

I hate to say it as I was a huge fan for many hears buts just nit cutting as it tries to become something none of us wanted.

the interweb has killed regular magazine advertising and thus the previous versions of what many of us expect.

test the new vehicles , compare them, discuss them...blah blah...blah..

I have never been a fan of C&D or R&T having no interest in foreign cars, but when they offered a years subscription to both for $7 total I took it for the C8 articles I knew would be coming. Haven't received Sept C&D yet, will have to call them.

Autoweek is in serious trouble since the interweb delivers news so quickly. Autoweek once a staple of delivering quick updates has unfortunately been overshadowed by email and automotive news websites. Once a great publication isat its end because of the shift in delivering news.

sad really as I was reading autoweek when it was like a newspaper back in the 60s or 70s..

I talked with a lead Autoweek writer at SEMA last November and they were so proud of their new visual format. I too him IMO is was the opposite, was/is a visual boring way of presenting cars and articles. I have since called Autoweek and managed to eventually talk to one of the “composition editors” (or whatever that person was titled), and that person heard from me the same thing. I was polite, but the reaction I got from both, was how wonderful our new format it.

Not to me. I hav not yet my subscription lapse, but might not be renewing it again. As JB noted, the internet is killing their model of presenting us new news.
