  • Official C8 Price Site Up, 194 MPH Top Speed, And At $59,995 MSRP Incl DFC

$59, 995 including DFC, under 3.0 seconds to 60 MPH, and a 194 MPH top speed. What an amazing Corvette!

When comparing this to the C7 StingRay’s $55,900 MSRP pricing, we remember that DFC @ $1,095 was a required option for all C7’s, but is now included in all C8’s MSRP’s.

If one were to take a C7 with an automatic trans, add in its $1,095 DFC for comparability, is it not amazing the C8 is just $1,000 more. Especially when one compares the formers 3.7 seconds to 60, the C8 doing that 3/4 of a second faster.

Here are your key pricing amounts:
    1. $ 59,995 entry MSRP which includes thedelivery freight charge.
    2. 2LT upgrade costs $ 7,300 (starts at $67,295).
    3. 3LT upgrade from base costs $ 11,950 (starts @ $71, 945)
    4. Z51 remains at $ 5,000. It includes performance exhaust.
    5. Performance exhaust without Z51 remains @ $ 1,195.
    6. E60 costs $ 1,495.

So many of us will now be heading over to that C8 build and price site, for among our most viewed additional pricing cost inquiries will be:

    *ZZ3 Engine Appearance Package cost?

*GT2 seat costs if I do not get the 3LT?

    GT2 seats = $1495
    FE4 = $1895
    ZZ3 = $995

    High Wing Spoiler = $1,150

Carbon Flash Mirrors is still only $100 and that includes the carbon flash rear spoiler With the Z51 package. A really great value in my opinion.

I understand that today’s pricing is disappointing to some. If that is what you are feeling, as a friend told another friend of mine last night, “if this car had come out in 1LT at $69,995, and the 2LT and 3LT packages were each a few thousand less than they were, still we are getting a car that goes under 3.0 second to 60 MPH that looks so great.”

Did that help, I do not know, but something to consider.

At first glance, it looks like a C8 with my chosen options is going to run a tad more than the MSRP on my GS. But I won't be getting 7% off the C8 like I did on the GS.

                    Thanks for the posting John.

Very exciting to be one step closer! I was pleasantly surprised some items being slightly lower than I expected. Overall pretty close to what I was preparing myself for. Chevrolet could have jacked up all their prices and still sold them like hot cakes, so thank you to the Corvette Team for listening and delivering to your core!

I can see a handful of people dropping off at this point who perhaps put a reservation on impulse (hard not to LOL), or perhaps only did rough math thinking they could afford the payment. Now that we have pricing you pretty much know what you're Out The Door cost is going to be.

Im happy with the pricing...this is exactly as it should be.

                        no disappointment what so ever.

this is exactly what I figured....

we all win with this pricing structure as does GM.

want to play you gotta pay...

performance priority ....you can as a consumer..you can do it.

slightly more luxury desired...you can do that...

want both at the same time..its still right there to do it..

want extensive luxury and unique higher quality personalization..check...

Harlan and his marketing team knocked this corvette generation out of the park..

only downside is the constraint timing leaves me a little cold but hey I have to respect the process even if it leaves me last man on the totem pole.....at ten weeks out before the dealer can input the order,..

                        boohoo...take my money now!

Pricing of the colors was what was expected, e.g., all at no extra charge except $995 for SO, $995 for Long Beach Red, $500 for Rapid Blue, and $500 for Accelerate Yellow.

I was anticipating pricing to be pretty much what it turned out for the options I want.

I think most people aren't shocked about any of the pricing really. I just wonder if GM will do a price increase sometime in the first 6-8 months.

I’ve sure got no problem in general with the pricing. Wish the GT 2 seats were a little less but oh well.
