  • Splash Guard Question

Has anyone seen the accessory 'splash guards'? I thought I read somewhere that they were "color molded in"...not sure what that means other than matching each color, which I doubt is the case. Wondering if they are little slim pieces like on the C7, or something entirely new? Appreciate any info you all have.

George, I don't have the answer, but there needs to be something to protect the side vents from small rock chips sent back by the front wheels. The standard splash guards for the C7 were barely there unless you went after market. They may rely on the side rockers to try to catch most of the road debris. but the first thing I would do would be having that whole area covered with protective film. For my Z51 C7, I only did the front end and side mirrors in SunTek and can't complain at all about how well it has protected my Stingray. I have the front and rear OEM splash guards but they are so slim as you properly described. I do know a few Z06 owners that didn't have the protective film but were replacing the side brake vents because of rock chips.
