Checking the latest NCM agenda, we found a nice air conditioned spot for us to meet, e.g., the Chevrolet Theater @ 4:00 PM, Friday.

There is an always-enjoyable BGA Plant Manager Kai Spande, one hour presentation scheduled in the theater at 2:30 PM. It is entitled, “What’s New at the BGAP?”

If you are wanting to attend that seminar too, as the theater only holds 168, and as his presentations are always a full house, I suggest you enter the theater NLT 2:00 PM (though there is overflow at the PDI area (at the end of Corvette Blvd near the Corvette Cafe entrance) Even if Kai’s presentation runs a little over, there is nothing else scheduled after it within the theater.

Hence, if you would like to join us, whether attending Kai’s presentation or not, we shall meet inside, at the very front of the theater at 4:00 PM. So far we have Keith Cornett (CorvetteBlogger) Brad 66, and I attending. We sure hope to re-see some of you we met at the BASH, and we meet many other MECF members there.

Thank you for signing up below. [This thread is sticky’d.]

I will do everything within my ability to meet you there!

Met Kai Spande a few years ago when our then club president picked up his car at the museum. A bunch of our members went down with him and arranged a factory tour just for our club, and before we started Kai came out and chatted with us for a bit. He certainly didn't need to do that, but it was great to meet him.

We just happened to see the very first production C7 GS coming down the line while we were there, too. Kai told us it would be started that day, but that we were probably too early to see it. We got lucky. Definitely a great guy.

John, good to see that the breakfast BASH tradition of some sort is continuing with NCM's 25th Anniversary. Marty and I will be there. I'm really interested to see what Kia has to say as to his last year's comments about no more than 28,000 annual Corvette production and Mary Barra adding a second shift to increase production!

One of these days, when I finally retire, I'll join all y'all, at BG. Still having too much fun training Air Force pilots, as a contractor, to retire. Looking forward to visiting the NCM next year when the plant also opens up. As the old saying goes, I'll live precariously through your experience--this time. Looking forward to hearing about your trip. Enjoy!

Hi John. I aim to be there. I believe our groups meet up on the way.

I have never gotten a window sticker for my C7. Does the library do canadian stickers? Early production to canada so i got a wierd sticker.
