Two of my local car friends have a mclaren 570...one gentleman has a 570 gt that he dailys in nice weather and the other has a 570s for weekends.

i happen to admire the 570 a lot...but dropping a couple of hundred grand on a new one or 150 grand on a low mileage preowned example is kind of crazy...(unless you can write off part of the costs as a business expense

the c8 nails it at pretty much a third of the cost...

if i get mine pretty early on...Ive been asked if they can do a youtube video of my c8...

the durability and running costs not to mention the continuing of a warranty even after track ise....makes the c8 a clear winner in the comparison

you cant put a mclaren on the track without losing the very imprtant warranty...

    the corvette you can....

OnStar has been removed? Haven't we seen interior photos that show the OnStar warning lights above the windshield?

            And the ordering guide says:

UE1 OnStar and Chevrolet connected services capable 1 - Terms and limitations apply. See onstar.com or dealer for details. S¹ S¹ S¹

That was a good video...who knew there were two cameras out back...on in the bumper and one on the roof...

i wonder if in the spyder the roof goes down...the second camera in the bumper takes over for the rear view mirror camera..

i remember one forum member and I dont remember who was worried that when the roof of the spyder went down he would lose the rear view mirror camera...

possibly not if there are two cameras out back?

              good video..

As another member has posted, in full sunlight the inside LCD screen in the mirror is probably going to be hard to see anyway, so with the top down it probably reverts to a regular mirror. The backup camera is mounted too low to be very useful as a rear view mirror. A lot of the time all you'd see is the front end of the car behind you.

Without the fastback roofline with it's VERY narrow rear window, the 'vert with the top down probably has pretty good rear visibility anyway.
