  • New C8 - ME renderings...getting closer

Here is an updated, cleaner and "more accurate" c8 rendering based on the best info we have to date. I included the split hood vent as described by an anonymous source. A more dramatic "polarizing" hood was also described by C7Pimp.

Also tried some different wheel treatments.

Some details are not 100% but the overall feeling is there I think.

Great things to look forward to...

Thank you fvs! I would love one of those ME’s in my garage. What you have rendered, could well be the year two, Z06 version.

Lime Rock Green is classic color. I remember seeing a C7 in that color with the Brownstone interior. Very classy. Looks great with the Kalahari also. Not many of them made, either. Great combos.

I was at a small cruise in last Friday, adoring a LRG with its Kalahari. Yes please bring it back GM!

We lost too many colors very prematurely during the C7 generation, including Cyber Gray, Lime Rock Green, Nightrace Blue, Daytona Sunrise Organge and Velocity Yellow.

I did not add Laguna Blue to this list for threee reasons, that the new Elkhart Lake Blue is so close and so gorgeous that I believe many LB lovers will be just as happy with it (maybe even happier), that it is a metallic with all its special attractiveness, and lastly that since ELB is a metallic and not a tint coat, it has lost its $995 extra cost.

Nicely I blieve that Shark Gray will similarly appeal to Cyber Gray lovers, but if I personally had a choice, would have preferred the return of Cyber Gray by more than a small margin.

As I've been saying for months, An LRG C8 with brushed bronze wheels and a tan interior would be the best looking Corvette of all time

I would abandon my “yellow mania” for that exact car!

I'm going for a red, with hopefully a nice tan interior, and an undisclosed color of custom powder coated factory wheels.

It sure would be nice for us to be able to get powder coated wheels. So much more chip resistant!!!

It would be, though I don't mind sending mine somewhere to have that done.

I had the best company in the state do “Ultra Black Chrome” for my 2017 WRX DD for $250/set.
