I am grateful for all the above. But most importantly I am grateful for this site and John, Brad and all the others that keep so well informed. And I have been kicked off this site for a time out for 3 days for my attack on others, lol. To those I have attacked, I am sorry. But, if you attack me I will hit back hard and if you lie to me, even harder.

SECOND THAT!!! Also grateful I got to see one in person this weekend at Road America and that it was the Zues Bronze Metallic one to help make up my mind that’s the one.

I am glad it is an NA V8 with super acceleration and what sounds like an awesome DCT in a mid engine car. Sounds like the quickness of the Stingray version has exceeded my expectation. Not that I am a drag racer, but it is just a simple measure of the performance I will have available every time I am in the car. Can't imagine I would ever want a Z06 or more pricey version (but of course we don't know what will be released in the future).

I am grateful that in my discussion of the C8 with my life partner, that I have not been read the riot act..

I think she is finally coming to the understanding that, if we don't spend it on ourselves, we really have nobody to leave it to who needs it.

That my budget will let my buy one! So I guess that's the base price answer.

And that it will be available in a convertible.

Since the entry is as fast 0-60 as the 8A C7 Z06 in a straight line, what might we be hearing next about its track times?

I am really grateful for DCT! I loved my C7 Z06/Z07, however,it had A8 gearbox and that didn't feel like a true sport car. I am also grateful for the nice interior and it's awesome infotainment system.

Per the comments from Ed Piatek and Doug Fehan in this thread:

                          https://www.midenginecorvetteforum.c...eorge%E2%80%9D

I think we're going to be hearing some amazing things:

When asked how they can claim the Stingray Z51 performance is superior to the current Z06; he gave a fascinating mini course on the performance advantages of the new C8 design and confirmed that "yes, it will outperform the current Z06 in every way."

Hi, All - New here. I grateful the C8 came along when it did. I was in the hunt for a clean '67 Coupe, but leery of a 50 year-old car. And, the new one will save me money.

Also, once I put some thought into it, I believe the Performance Exhaust (as in, 495 hp) can be had without the Z51 Option. I don't race; I cruise.
