  • Which wheels would you consider as your top C8 order choice or choices?

There are currently six GM wheel options for the 2020 Stingray. Four of these can be ordered on the car while two have to be ordered as an accessory set of wheels in addition to whatever wheels are ordered with the car. In addition, an All Carbon Flash Open Spoke option might be desired by some over the Carbon Flash Open Spoke with the polished edge, as well as a chrome option in both the Open Spoke and Trident Spoke.

If ALL NINE of these options were available when ordering the car, which would you consider as your top choice or choices? The nine options are:
    1. Bright Silver Open Spoke (Currently Available)
    2. Chrome Open Spoke (Not Currently Available)
    3. Carbon Flash Open Spoke with Polished Edge (Currently Available)
    4. All Carbon Flash Open Spoke without Polished Edge (Not Currently Available)
    5. Performance Pewter Open Spoke (Currently Available as Accessory Order Only)
    6. Ultra Bright Trident Spoke (Currently Available)
    7. Chrome Trident Spoke (Not Currently Available)
    8. Spectra Gray Machined Trident Spoke (Currently Available)
    9. Black Trident Spoke (Currently Available as Accessory Order Only
    Thank you for your responses.

May I suggest a "none of the above" option for people that would prefer something completely different?

It'll almost certainly be the split spoke silver for me. The pewter ones look interesting, and if they were a regular RPO option I'd want to look at them closely, but don't think I'm going to want to pay GM for 2 sets of wheels.

I really like the BLACK TRIDENT SPOKE wheels but I'm not going to mess with a second set of wheels from the dealer and the resulting complications of mounting, etc.

With that said, I'm voting for the SPECTRA GRAY MACHINED TRIDENT SPOKE wheels. I really can't believe the many friends I have that are getting C8's and are 'bummed' because they will have to get 'after market' chrome wheels. In my opinion, that's like hanging a sign on the car that says, 'Old Guy Driving'...… Wait a minute, I am one!!!

The silver open spoke are the stock wheels. The others are all extra cost presumably. Without knowing that it's hard to say, especially for me as the wheels are my only disappointment with the car. Since I'm probably going with the Shadow Grey (more by default than because I love it), I think the stock wheels are a good match. I might consider Spectra Grey Trident if the price is reasonable.

Thanks Jag. I am a very happy boy, as is my wonderful wife, with # 8, the front-of-major-spoke and outside-rim polished, mainly Spectra Gray Metallic 5-Spoke Tridents for our C8.

Here it is as displayed at the reveal:

Similarly, we have the identical Spectra Gray on most of our C7 Z06 wheels. Just love the color, with its beautiful metallic component, as in:

Does anyone know with the black trident wheel accessory, if it can be installed by the dealer before you pick up the car?

Its about the only wheel I like

Yes it could. They would then give you back the wheels that came with your car from the factory. As to whether the dealer would charge you, that is between you and they.

Only most of them? Which wheel is different?

Wait so is "All Carbon Flash Open Spoke without Polished Edge (Not Currently Available)" going to be an actual option or is that just photoshopped? Because I don't like the polished lip on the ones available.

None of the open spoke wheels are polished at all; as currently shown in either the silver or the black, they are also not constrained to the best of our knowledge, and could be come with your car if you so order it that way.

The pewter open spoke wheels are an accessory, and must be separately from your dealer’s part’s counter. We similarly have no knowledge of their being constrained. The pewter ones are also not polished.

You are wanting wheels that were on the white reveal car. Those wheels were liked that night by so many.

While this is not an option at this time, the Corvette Team does listen to its customer base. I just edited the original photo, but it would be a nice option and one I would personally prefer if I go with carbon flash wheels.
