Just came across a link to the Corvette Accessory Guide which shows some more detail to pictures regarding accessories, carbon fiber, covers, etc. Not sure if it was already posted but I haven't seen this yet....until now.

Okay please help me with this discovery. The parts book attached above has a picture of this wheel. Why does this C8 Z51 have slotted rotors in the book? This is not a option? Slotted were on some of the mules but not on the show car, I see a big disconnect Thoughts?

Could the cars with slotted rotors be part of the track package we been hearing about?

I think it is a messed up graphic that got overlooked and placed int the guide. But maybe it is the future that also got overlooked and placed into the guide.

It also appears (to me) that the calipers do not say "Z51," which I believe the production calipers do. Most probably a test setup that, as John said, got included in the guide as an oversight. Personally, I would like the slotted rotors. I hope, at least, that GM used a bit more zinc content in the rotors this time to minimize rusting ...

That book has been around for a long time. I suspect it was put together (or at least starting to be put together) before the reveal in July 2019. Probably an early mock up with slotted rotors. I’m pretty sure the “track package” you have heard mentioned is nothing more than the Z51 package. I have heard people refer to Z51 as a “track package” although GM refers to it as a “performance package.”
