  • C8 at MacMulkin next week

The C8 is at Macmulkin next week (8-7 from I believe 11 am - 7 pm).
I called yesterday to confirm I could sit in it and was told definitely yes.
Would seem crazy to me not to be able to sit in it so I was glad to hear you can.
I'll post up some thoughts on 8-8.

Thanks steve8 for posting that information. Glad that folks are going to experience how fantastic it is to sit inside the car, especially for larger folks needing confirmation that they can comfortably fit in it. The GT2 seats it has are amazingly comfortable, and to see the steering wheel to dash perfection of shapes, note the improved view out the front of the car, etc.

All are going to be such fun for you. Oh yes, one gets to see the outside, and to gape into the engine compartment. I am so glad for you all who are going! MacMulkin folks are terrific; bought my C7 Z06 from them. Superb buying experience.

I wish I could join you there!

You are so lucky to be able to sit in it. We flew out to Atlantic City for Kerbecks showing of the C8, and it was in a fenced in area. No one was allowed in the fenced in area. We couldn’t touch let alone sit in it.

At least one youtuber got to spend an hour with it and do a pretty thorough review. He is from my area and barely has more subscribers than I do. However, he is a really good guy and is a loyal Corvette owner with a very unique car.

Even though it's only a 32 mile ride for me, I'd be ticked off if I couldn't sit in it, hence the phone call.
These cars won't be sold so I don't see the problem.
Sorry you couldn't get in it.

The only problem is trying to convince somebody to get out of the car so the next person can try it.
I could probably happily spend an hour sitting there poking at the controls etc.

Thanks Steve. Actually going to sell my C7 Z06. After a couple of years I will upgrade the C8 Z51 to the C8 Z06.

Are you thinking of getting a C8 if you like it on the 7th?

My thought right now is ordering a second year convertible. TBD
