Remember my posting that I would pay an incremental $5,000 for a 4LT interior. No need to do that, for the 3LT is over the moon. As to whether the 3LT increases in price, we will find out in 20 more days. Ah yes, the Z51’s splitter rocks!!!2023 Z06: Elkhart Lake Blue, 2-tone blue interior, HTC, Standard Z06 with Z07 aero pkg, CCB’s, 3LZ, E60, every visible carbon fiber option including wheels, Jake Design Pkg. Thanks for the pics. I now see from the one pic why dealers are hesitant to have observers be able to sit in the car that do not have deposits on the cars as some have their hands all over the car. Did they put up the barriers afterwards?

I have to say as nice as the photos are...the real life body design is off the charts...
im resting from 5 hours of round trip driving with the roof off and all the fun people at the event today...
whatever you like in the photograph multiply it a thousand times...
so many who saw the car today were placing orders..
some people thought I was a gm product specialist or worked with kerbeck...inside the tent with the seats, the tires ...people were waiting in line to ask me questions...(one guy jumped in front of a lady and she smiled and said she was next in lime to ask a question) i had so much fun...(i only hope i gave people the right answers) im kidding...
at the end of each discussion I told them I get all my information from www.midenginecorvetteforum.com....heheh
i felt compelled sometimes to tell people after I filled them in i was not working there ..and Im into corvettes like them...
the radio station 103.7 was there....playing music...Good parking ...tons of beautiful c5s, c6 s, c7s...you would look at the cars coming in to park and you couldn't but help say..to yourself....dont trade that beauty in for the c8..
c7 grnad sports, z06 s...convertibles in every color in the parking field...there were all kinds of corvettes and all kinds of cars..jaguar f types, porsches...zL1s...you name it..it was there...tommorow is going to be even crazier...
today the parking field still had room and just so you guys know it wasnt at the showroom...it was on a field next to the waterways...
i had a blast till I had to blast out of there i got there at 1030 and blew out by 12:15 to head back north...
I blinked and it was time to roll out.
everybody loved that car...
i know I did...
now I only wish I placed my reservation sooner...
I have to own that corvette...(thats what everyone was thinking )
gm knocked this out of the park...
btw everyone wanted E60 but not everyone was ordering 2LT...
forget the gps....just charge 1500 and we dont need gps for 1LT lift ..
oh well z51 fe4 is going to be a massive ordering item
gm better stock up on those parts! Dont be running out of z51 fe4 parts to build Mr TJ...
what fun...and the pretty corvette girls in miniskirts ...whoa!
Just a great day!
Wish I could have stayed overnight like some of our more lucky forum members!
smart move going to two shofts in BG...they are going to need it to meet demand...Last edited by JB; 07-26-2019, 05:27 PM.

Yes by i d say 1130? They put up metal barriers around the c8...otherwise we were just getting crowd photos....
nobody sat in this orange car ...but it would have been insane.
i got the feeling the second car was in the service bay back at the dealership if they had two cars on site with people sitting in the car...but i didnt care...i just wanted to see the car in person...
when you see the compound curves of the side of this car its all over...
the front bumper is not a straight line from say left to right...and you can sort of see it in the photos...but in real like the front end reminded me of a pointed arrow head...thats how radical the design is....its extremely avante guard....as the sweep back shape and edges of the front end...
described in plain english....i guess i would say the center tip of the front of the c8 comes to a point sweeping back like the insignia crossed. Flags on the hood...
by the way...the insignia on the hood was perfect sized and perfect shape for the c8..
im not a big fan of badges yet i see no reason to want to take that off..
the whole car was awesome...
the interior and that linemof buttons was very cool down the center console...
the steering wheel in person very nice..
win win win win win win......are we tired of winning yet? NO!

Fwiw anyone who is a neat freak in their corvette should seriously consider that color interior with possibly a blue or white exterior...
i couldnt do that grey interior with my son as my number one co pilot but it was stunning.
never again will we ever even hear a whisper how corvette interiors arent world class...
best in class...

I made it to Kerbeck very early this morning. Great day! Loads of stunning Vettes in the lot, it wasn’t crazy crowded, perfect weather. I got to meet Dave Salvatore, he was a great host. The Corvette specialist Rich from GM was excellent. Inside was the room with the wheel selection, colors, the tires, seating, etc. They even had the configurator up on a big screen.
The new C8 is drop dead gorgeous! The way the Sebring Orange flowed over the compound curves was amazing! Chevy knocked it out of the park, they’ll sell every last one. Can’t wait to get mine!Torch Red, Z51, 2LT, Mag Ride, E60, Adrenaline Red/ Two-Tone GT2, CF goodies

Got some with the top on today from Kerbeck reveal from 30 feet away! LOL! Hard to get any engine pics as it was far away - seriously. Worth the trip from MN though!
This is interesting, I'm NOT sure on this, but please refer to my SECOND TO last picture. On the inside of the door it states "NON-SALABLE." Maybe the mods would know, is this GM's car that they will be sending to other dealers??
Not my fav color, but this car would even look AWESOME in Mary Kay Pink LOL - Seriously I'd drive a pink one!
Sorry if these are duplicates - I got some different angles with top on. This car is even MORE awesome in person folks!!! YUP - NO SH__

Forgot one - Im sure a lot of folks have noticed. Obviously they themed the car on a fighter plane. Check out the frunk. Edges like the STEALTH B-117 - I LOVE that. Wish they would have done that on the rear hatch too. Maybe it was too much - dunno. I would have dropped the trunk inmo.
I also heard both of the c-7 ZR1 and this Sebring orange. The c-7 ZR1 has a more hearty (better sounding) exhaust. May have been modded (not sure).
This c-8 is going to be fun!!NCM Life Member
