  • 2020 Corvette Framed Commemorative Coin Sets & Individual Coins for Sale

A limited run of 250 framed and numbered coin sets were first made available during the Next Generation Reveal event in Tustin, CA. I was able to help several forum members place orders at that event. The sets are $199 and the few numbered sets that remained available to order are now for sale on CorvetteCollection.com. You can order your set while supplies remain at:

    https://corvettecollection.com/next-...-coin-set.html

You can also now purchase individual coins in your choice of color for $10 each on CorvetteCollection.com here:

    2020 Corvette
    Commemorative Coins

On the evening of July 18th 2019, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray was revealed for the first time at a special event held in Southern California. These coins were minted to commemorate the premier of the Next Generation Corvette, and the rich history of Corvette since its debut in 1953.

One side of the coin features Zora Arkus-Duntov, the Belgian-born American who became Corvette’s first Chief Engineer and who's work earned him the nickname "Father of the Corvette". It also features 1953, the year it all began, Chevrolet, and the original Corvette signature.

The reverse side features the new Next Generation Corvette crossed flags, the year of its debut in 2020, Chevrolet, and the new Corvette signature.

These coins are available in each of the twelve 2020 Corvette car colors. They are 1-7/8" in diameter, weigh1.6 ounces, and are protected in a clear accessible coin case.

Nice! I may be tempted to get a Torch Red one to match my anticipated paint color.

      Thanks for the links.

Jag you are financially killing me. First you call me from the Tustin hanger last Thursday due to your getting in early, and told me about the $199/set and “SOLD” and then you post this so I had to buy some more individual ones. I hope that you are willing to buy us lunch some day so we can still afford our C8.

Not trying to add to your financial distress or anything, but that site's "Next Generation" section has quite a few interesting goodies available.

I hear you john. Everytime I get this excited about a car I look for the little trinkets for myself and then start buying them for others that are as interested as I am for gifts. When I got into the 356 Porsche Speedsters a few years back I was spending stupid money on stuff that collects dust and the credit card bills add up.. I do Charity shows and give most of the stuff away to kids at such shows as the Make A Wish Foundation show. I really go nuts with T shirts and the C8 t shirts I made are all gone already. Gotta Get some more.

Very nice. We take it, LOL, that you are getting the GORGEOUS Elkart Lake Blue. What about your interior Brad?

My Laguna Blue Z06 had dark gray interior which I liked. I will probably go back to a black interior although I'd like to see the blue in person before deciding.
