I was just looking back at the C7 magazine articles and noticed a pretty large gap between the car's introduction and the first real road tests. The car's announcement and overview was in March 2013 but thanks to magazine lead times the first road test was in Sept 2013. That's 6 months later.
Does this mean we won't see an actual instrumented road test of the C8 until January 2020? (6 months from now) That's going to be a brutal wait!
There have been a couple of media ride-alongs during testing, and I believe there was some testing at Road Atlanta with media in attendance, but that's not the same as full, independent tests with impressions gathered over days of driving under various conditions.
