In the Accessories guide are red "Corvette" letters for the back of the car. First time I've seen those.


Edit: In the Playbook's accessories section at the back they list the Corvette letters available in:

• White (RIN)
• Elkhart Lake Blue (SL8)
• Torch Red (RIK)

I am sure these can be installed at any point and who knows what the aftermarket will bear. Certainly one of my required options.

I really want that red engine cover for my Z51! I wonder how long past initial production it will be available?

Would this item then be considered on "constraint" and would the order writer know this in advance?

Re engine cover optional availability, the Edge Red (darker red matching Long Beach Red) engine cover (option code “RCD” ) and the Silver engine cover (”RCC”), are delayed availability.

Yes, that means that they will be constrained and not available at the beginning. But whether they appear in week three or month two or later, we do not know.

However, the optional Red engine cover (“?“) shown in the below picture is not a delayed availability part and should be available to most (hopefully all) the first consensus.

Dealers are not informed of some constraints until the very week of orders going in, yet at other times informed in advance. However, we will ask such questions at the NCM 25th and perhaps get more precise timing as to the engine cover timing.

Either way I’m sure engine covers will be forthcoming from the aftermarket.
