ID:	48438 The c8 is so amazing i cant help but take delivery as soon as possible..

i really was going to wait for year two...so all the little bugs would be worled out just that much more..but I just cant..

i just have seen so many of the details sweated...ugh...the look...the engineering.l.i just cant wait..

      kudos to gm...

anytime they can get consumers like me to throw logic to the wind....(of buying second year) and dream of owning the c8 to the point when it has to happen asap!

I was driving my mint 2008 c6 z51 m6 into manhattan last night down the palasades alongside a red c7 convertible. And honestly even with 134k miles...my car is perfect...the npp is open...the interior mint..the exterior in black gleaming...

im like this car is perfect...especially on a beautiful summer evening heading in around 10 pm..

as great as an experience it was...

the c8 is so well done...i have to basically give this current sports car away for like practically nothing because thats what they are worth after this many miles...and im ok with it...im happy to hand this beauty over to a new owner who will enjoy this car for many many years. Its funny but over forty years of buying new cars i always seem to sell my cars to the forst person that comes to see them...i price them enticingly so i dont have to waste my time with multiple people. The cars are always in such wonderful condition..people buying my cars, my wifes cars always smile and are thankful for the vehicle and the very nice purchase experience...id make a losuey car salesman because id rather have a nice selling experience than haggle back and forth for a few measely dollars...people dont even try and get the cars less because the orice i put on the, to begin with is so good for what they are getting..maybe one sentence comes out of their mouths and often its a token move...i already have buyers lined up...because I cared so well for this car it shows...and I priced it very well...

if in case any of you guys local to the tri state area have someone interested in a mint c6 z51 manual at what seems ti be an excellent price for the buyer and a fair price to me...feel free to tell them to contact me...im thinking march april time frame for the sale....as I plan on selling it as the new corvette c8 gets delivered..lleither before or after...not a big deal...

the same goes for c8 z51 fe4...for what it offers its an insanely good price ....as long as gm stays within option pricing on z51 fe4 of the c7 within a few bucks paying what gm is asking for is totally fair...hopefully i can get that lift front end option feature for the c8 with the gps thingy on the 1LT...for like 1500 and Im good.. if not with a 1lt ..then bye bye front end lift system...ill just drive 5 mph over 10 mph speed tables newly installed on my cul de sac ......meanwhile these young baby mommas keep driving their mercedes cuvs fly over those speed tables at like 30 mph..

      anyways...ranting away....back on topic...

the c8 z51 fe4 is that good..msrp is more than exciting...the performance and looks blows my mind..lthe dct, the tech involved I just have to own it asap....gm and its corvette designers and engineers created a sports car that created such passion...they did a great job.

zero to sixty in under 3 seconds consistently blows my mind.....not that it really matters...4 seconds, three secinds whatever..lbut come on..under three seconds to sixty is a crazy accomplishment ...as is the rest of the c8 z51 fe4...

the sexy good looks is right on target...the targa feature just too cool.

ill keep the other options light on color coded thing a ma gigs just because thats who I am for over 60 years...

they say leopards dont change their spots....especially if they are happy leopards...

im one of those happy leopards...gm really delivered on that c8 z51 fe4....

      wow!

The tech, the looks...the performance and the price...

the new c8 is a home run...

Its fun to see the shift in generations...lthe c8 while still showing a corvette lineage is truly an a,azing new design direction for corvette...

the rear mid engine layout offers amazingly new and exciting proportions...

dont get me wrong..las i saw a c7 torch red convertible last night...i said to myself what a beautiful car...and the owner should enjoy tjat amazing sculpture of a vehicle for many years to come...i think the cockpit of the c8 moved 16 inches forward and it really did shift the perspective or balance of the design in a whole new way...its an exciting event in the corvette world....as awesome as the long hood short rear deck has been..especially in the c7....the new c8 really creates something in many ways totally different.

even as amazing as the c8 is..those that hold onto their c7 s ..i totally get it...for the design expression that the c7 excudes...its so well done...really very bold and quite sexy...

in many ways for most manufacturers their attempts at boldness tends to date their vehicles...yet with corvette for some reason...possibly the extreme boldness of its design and possibly even in performance....corvettes even past generations tend to still create an allure ...a desire of ownership..i think thats why so many corvettes are still on the road..l.their owners love them,
