  • how much do you guys think it will be for the 2lt?

with everything you get with the 2lt, I'm afraid how much it will cost. I'm guessing minimum $10k

2lt has added nav and PDR (which was a $1725 option on the C7) and all new features such as wirelss phone charging, heated steering wheel, rear camera mirror, blind spot and rear cross traffic alert.

in addition to the standard 2lt items from the C7, except you don't get the heated and cooled seats which are included with the optional gt2 seats (sold seperately)

I don't see how the 2LT trim level stays at $5k

I think the base is at $60,000 so you COULD get one at that price, but they know we will pop the $10k for the 2lt so it'll be $75k with the 2lt and Z51... unless the Z51 price goes up as well.

Whatever it cost in the c7 i think you will find the c8 option will cost...

    dont over stress these things...

fwiw ill probably do the 1 or 2 lt...

ive owned both versions and its not really that big a deal unless you love heated seats and maybe the hud..

the hud is cool to see how far over the limit you are (accidentally) when your radar detector goes off.

    five grand

From what the b& I think you will find everything to be priced about the same as the C7 models. Remember this car's price below 60K includes a DCT. A $3,400 option in some Porsches, so the car is not really priced more than a C7. SO LT2 package should be relative, around 5 Grand, same as a C7

I love me some heated and cooled seats, and nice sound system. Having the powered mirrors in the GT-R, those are nice too.

One thing I noticed about the 2LT: it doesn't include heated seats by default. You need to choose the optional GT2 seats to get heat and ventilation, and those seats are available with the 2LT package, not included.

Turns out the piece of information above may not be correct. According to the ordering guide, all 2LTs get heated & ventilated seats as standard.

That’s awesome! I think I’m going to get the 2LT, maybe 1 as I never use heated seats and always turn the HUD off.

Agree with Tom. I'm thinking close to $10K for the 2LT package. There's just too much there to keep it at $5k, or even $5K + the $1800 for the PDR/Nav.

Unless there are significant components added to 2LT package on the C8, I am not thinking $10K but’s closer to 6K. In the C7, there’s on a $4,455 price increase to go from a 1LT auto Stingray to a 2LT auto. Though perhaps, as suggested above, GM might decide to make some new components/options standard in the 2LT but not the 1LT???

Think we just need a time out until around the end of next month to get real numbers.

There are a LOT of new components added to the 2LT package. I wish they had a 2LT that basically mirrored the C7's version (plus the rear view camera), a 3LT that matches the C8's 2LT, and a 4LT that matches the new 3LT.

But you're right, we need to wait. And the wait for real numbers is going to be excruciating.

you are right, they need to calculate all of the data everybody puts into the (no prices) configurator, before they set pricing/options.

Tom, I was under the impression that the Nav had come with the 2LT in the C7. I know the PDR was 1725, I guess I was a little optimistic and the 5K was unrealistic.. Though 10K sounds high to me as electronic equipment costs has come down whether it be in homes or cars. You very well may be right this C8 under 60K may be a great advertising tool for GM and the equipment levels and options are a mystery at this point, I feel by design. I just hope that GM does not follow Porsches lead and price options to the point where C8s are not affordable.

Any ideas on what the Z51 package will cost ? How about the trick shocks (FE4 aka MRC). I am thinking the 2LT + Z51 + MRC is around $12K.

Guessing that the threesome you listed would be closer to $13,500 — but again guessing.
