Has there been a major product announcement in the internet age that's made it to release day with no pics of the finished goods on the web? Apple can't do it. Any other car company? Jalopnik had C7 renderings months before the release. The C6 had body molds from a boat shop that gave that away, and the finished vehicle on car carriers in San Fransisco for the Boy's Dream commercial shoots before the launch.

The only thing we've seen of the C8 is bad images of the back end and what GM wanted to release. Even 12 hours before the cover comes off, people are still debating what the finished machine will look like.

Current Ford GT maybe ...not sure but they kept the development a complete secret. But then again it’s not a mass production car at a Ford assembly plant either. So that’s the only car that comes to mind in the internet age we all live in. Actually the final assembly is in Canada 🇨🇦@ the multimatic plant. The same firm that builds race cars for a few manufacturers.

To think all the people involved with this project and yet no leaks. 100 mule cars seen everywhere, some supposedly abandoned. in parking lots. Top Secret Government Agencies should solicit your Play Book. If you think of all the top publications and writers not to mention the thousands of Corvette fans that have been looking everywhere from every different direction for information and found little and most mis leading, GREAT JOB GM. For making today, July 19, 2019 Very Special to Me and all of us. I grew up with Corvettes, owned several, this is exciting as 50 years ago on this date that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the Moon. I remember that day well as a fifteen year Old and I will remember this day as a 65 year old. The GM team made this memory special to me and to others. If there had been leaks this day MAY not have been as memorable, THANK YOU

Good, I'd can them too, with blistering speed. After seeing how much those union workers make, I bet that person is regretting that decision. Should have just reveled in the fact that they were able to see the C8 prior to the reveal!
