Well it all had to end eventually I've owned my 2020 C8 Corvette for 3 years now.
The car was built the first week of production did its QC hold and just made it to the train station as the country came to a grinding halt due to Covid. It arrived at the Milpitas California auto train dispatch center but trucking was sort of confused if they could work or not.
A small Union trucking company did finally retrieve the car and bring it to the dealership which by now in March of 2020 was shut down. They brought in the service tech and under the cloak of darkness did the PDI. We did the paper work and took delivery of the car in the depths of the service department. There obviously was no one to explain the features of the car before we left so, with manual in my wife's hand off we went all the way to the first driveway of the dealership where we sat trying to find out how to activate the front lift.
For months we had the only C8 in the area when people say add time to your fuel stops because people want to see your C8 they are correct we were trailed and photos taken every where we went but it was never mistaken for another brand of car it was alway WOW a new C8 Corvette not, is that a Lambo ?
We have had no problems with the car, other than a couple of flat tires.... The only 2 items I would change are the location of the parking brake switch and the phone charger location, everything else I have adapted to...
We have around 14,XXX miles I use it as a daily driver I have other classic/collectable Corvettes and this is my favorite, my wife didn't think anything could pry me out of my 1965 L78 Corvette that was my daily driver until this C8 arrived...
We now, along with thousands of other we wait for our ZO6 to arrive...
Save the wave
