What is your current Z06 position and when would you realistically expect it?

I was 899 at MM but realistically thought i would not see the car for years, 2,3,4? How long till the C9’s come out? 😱
i was at MM a few weeks ago, they had a z06 in the showroom and one of the salesmen started it for a future z06 owner - i think he said he was 2199 on the list? Which made me think he would not see the car for literally years…..

anyway the roar from that beast starting up was overwhelming… i instantly wished I had stayed on the list and not swayed to the eray… i just cant see waiting 3-4 years for a car. life is too short and too uncertain.

I do hope things change and you guys with low numbers get your cars soon. And you guys with crazy high numbers get good news about increased production.

I’ve been on Criswells list with Mike since April of 21 when I placed the deposit for my base C8. I was told I was 1 of 900 a few months later. Not expecting to hear anything for at least another 3 years. I’ll continue to keep an eye out for one with my specs in the meantime that doesn’t have a huge ADMIN.

10.19.2019 is the date I got on a list. The number is not known. So few are made. Even a low-ish number far away.

Overall approximately 1 in 5 of completed customers Z06’s has the complete aero package. We are however seeing of the last Z06’s produced that roughly 1 in 4 is a Z07 (meaning of course it has the complete aero package). What we do not know however, is whether those are August 18th catch up allocations, and those have even more to go (the latter I suspect but at a diminishing number). If so, even though lately aero packages have been 1 in 4, that to me does not automatically mean that future allocations would also be 1 in 4 aero packages allocation granted — for the remaining August 18th orders with full aero would yet have to be built.

But at some point, and we hope pretty soon for we are seeing more and more August 18th allocations being built with the aero package, that the last ones of those August 18th ones not yet 3100 and higher status would soon be moved first to 3100 and then to the assembly line. If the latter, from then forward it should be that 1 in 4 aero packages continue to be the ratio on future built Z06/Z07’s, e.g., even those not even right now accepted at 2000 status should move forward.

In others words we could be pretty soon getting to the tipping point on new allocations increasingly being for Z07 orders at least to the 1 in 4 level. The first inkling of this we saw in the late January Z06 constraints easing from “full stop for aero” as in the November/Dec batch to some partial constraints for aero. We hope we see more evidence of this in the upcoming batch of Z06 allocations — specifically for the sake of those who have been wanting their Z07’s but being on hold for a while.

I think you’re right about playing catch up. When I talked with my dealer last week (still at 3000) he said they finally got the build week for their second Z from August last week. Not a Z07 but lots of carbon fiber. Assuming all that CF is coming from the same manufacturers as the aero I’m guessing a lot the Z07s are from the first allocations.

I am currently number 4 at my small local dealer. So far they have received one Z06 allocation. I suspect that at best I will be a late 2024 allocation but it could be a 2025 model. They expect to get MAYBE one Z06 allocation a quarter.

I sent in my deposit to MM on December 29,2020, and was number 374 on the waiting list. I am #279 as of 2-1-2023. I do not want a Z07, so maybe, with a whole lot of luck I will get one by my birthday in December.

Currently # 118 at MM. Just submitted my initial build specs to them. Thanks to the over 70 Z07/aero hold-outs ahead of me I may have my 'standard' Z06 sometime this summer!

Criswell List here. I got on Mike's list for both the C8 and Z06 August 2020. Received my C8 Thanksgiving 2021. Now enjoying my C8 HTC and waiting patiently (LOL) for the Z06. Oh when I inquired about the Z06 list then (Aug 2020) I was in the 3 hundreds. Back then that wasn't bad at all, BUT WHO KNEW!!

I'm using pretty simple math. Ciocca represents approx 4% of total corvette sales. At order position 1012 ...I should be getting the 25,300 Z06 produced.

With 1244 Z06s produced since September 2022 it is going be a long wait. At 25 z06's a day its about 4 more years... March 2027.

Will there even be C8s being made in 2027 or will the C9 have C8 Z06 performance specs?

Maybe its time to ask for the return of the deposit.

Im # 30 on Rick Hendricks Chevrolet in Duluth Ga.since I picked up my 2020 from them March 2020. thought I would have had a Z06 allocation by now. Probably another 6 months ...as a 2024 the way things are going

Is Hendricks Duluth still charging $13,000. for the Z06 add on package?
