Ceramic Brakes not required when ordering Visible Carbon Fiber TOG(High Wing)

I grabbed this off another forum but thought it was important to post. This yellow Z06 has TOG without ceramic brakes. On the configurator it makes you select ceramic brakes to grt TOG. Not the case and here is proof.


This changes things for me. I will order it now. Before, I did not want CCB’s or the Cup 2 R’s.

Please note that CCB’s are required for the T0G aero option as in last line in the attached photo from this evening’s Order Guide. However, here is a clearer picture of that window sticker which reinforces what you are saying in your OP.



In conclusion, that car pictured neither has the CCB’s, yes is a Z06, and yes it window sticker shows T0G but no CCB, so candidly I do not understand how it came to be.

I would not assume however it is replicable, e.g., meaning that for whatever reason this one might be a one-off, and that one would not be able to order it at this time. Clearly we need to learn more…. I am reaching out to GM in the morning asking for their assistance.

No, its on the window sticker. 10,495.00

Did you attach the window sticker in the email to Harlan?

Harlan is fully informed/highly knowledgeable. His response was clear as you have read it above, that “Carbon Aero package requires J57”

As to why that car is the way it is, ??? We have over the decades seen rare one-offs; we used to call them way back COPO cars, “central office production orders.” I remember vividly a factory pink C5 that Kerbeck received.
