You can really see how much padding and camo is on this one if you go through the video second by second.

Declare that secret is being kept and folks will search for it. Tell where it is hidden and folks will focus there.

Man was he refueling with the engine running? That’s not good.

Looks like another convertible ... no vents around the rear window and you can see thru the windshield out the back of the car thru what looks like a vertical rear window.

          1 week to go

I've done it, feeling guilty as I do. " Is the thing going to explode"?. Googled it and there are all sorts of opinions

            1. The only rule is that your engine can't be running. Yes, it is definitely dangerous to leave the engine running with children inside the car. They might want to copy their parents, and shift the gearbox into drive. Or, while you're inside paying for petrol, a bad person could hop into the driver's seat and drive away.Aug 16, 201

            2. Petrol vapour burns only in a very narrow range of concentrations—between 2 and 8 per cent of the volume of the air. When the concentration is less than 2 per cent, there's not enough fuel to sustain a flame. And when it's over 8 per cent, there's not enough oxygen available to combine with the petrol vapour—so again, no burning. The chance of having the right concentration of petrol vapour immediately next to both heat and the oxidiser is very low.

            3. A bigger risk than the engine starting a fire, is static electricity causing a spark and fire -- and that will not be alleviated by turning off the car. (but even so, the chance of dying from that is, historically, about the same as the chance of being taken out by a sniper while pumping gas).

            4. You can get a ticket for it? In some places.

But, IMHO, burning fuel off while putting it in has a kind of ringing inconsistency. Like eating while sitting on the toilet. Bad idea. Need to stop.

Maybe he finished fueling and then started the car. I did not see a gas hose connected to it.
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.

I agree with shadow, if you actually pay attention instead of assuming there is no hose going to the car so he is ether done fueling or never started yet.

This is the least amount of camo that we've seen so far. Love the hood

You motivated me to go back and look at the hood again. Thanks. Would have been a little easier to see picture if his headlights were off. I too like the hood. Especially knowing a key part of its design is downforce and channeling the air around the cabin.

Cool to see such interest from younger enthusiasts! GM (and we all) should be happy about that!!

Yes it is! Within three months of the C7 coming out, there were 17 new C7’s in the high school student parking lot of an affluent suburb; that culminated in about twice that number by the end of the school year. But lack of refreshing the C7 mid-cycle paid its price even for these kids, for very few additional ones were added the last few model years — with some even trading in their C7’s for something newer and more trending in their opinion. [Of course that is a financial world few of us are part of.]

GM used to do mid-cycle major visual refreshes. We all hope they consider doing so again.

If you look carefully, then you will see that there is more to the hood than the camo is revealing.
