Specs @ the Reveal?

For those who attended, or watched, the C7 reveal - were detailed specs released during the event???

such as weight? Please.

Or or was it mostly a colors and cup holders thing ?

and perhaps if the weight is not officially released someone in attendance could bring back a whisper number - like over/under c7.....c6.....

I hope so. If they describe the LT2's power/torque output as a vague "more than the LT1" it's gonna kill me.

Based on previous Chevrolet performance vehicle reveals such as the 5th and 6th gen Camaro SS, ZL1, and the C7, they will not give actual hard numbers for HP/Torque ratings. They will instead give lowball estimates and give more real numbers later on as it gets closer to production. As for weight, I believe the 6th gen Camaro weight was given at the reveal, since Chevy was proud of how much lighter it was when compared to the 5th gen. Not sure if they would do that here since I've read a few different posts indicating that the C8 will most likely be heavier than the C7.

I am afraid that we still won't be given ALL the details and specs we want. That seems to be the usual practice. It will keep us talking as we get closer to production, and it will give them more info to share later on to keep it interesting. But we are still going to learn a lot. I am sure it will be much much more than just colors and cup holders.
